was established as a collaborative R&D centre of excellence for electric vehicles (EV) in Singapore. evHUB serves as a hotbed for innovative research on green sustainable transport solutions, consumer response, environmental impact, and electric vehicle technology. By conducting research and technology development and participating in relevant policy guidance to the state and institutions of higher learning, evHUB strives to help solve research questions and address commercialization issues for EVs.

evHUB addresses these goals in two ways: by actively engaging in collaborative research activities between institutions of higher learning, relevant state and transport agencies as well as leading EV component manufacturers. evHUB is also a founding member of the Cleantech Community of Practitioners (COP)- comprised of academics, government and non-governmental organizations, EV advocates, industry representatives from the electric utility companies and battery manufacturers.

Our efforts to develop and integrate innovative and sustainable technologies has received support from state agencies, institutions of higher learning and industry leaders. Our platform combines research and development with commercial product deployment, allowing for both horizontal and vertical integration of the supply chain across a wide range of emerging sustainable technologies.

evHUB coordinates with existing research organizations and government agencies including:

Land Transport Authority of (Singapore)

Economic Development Board (Singapore)

National Environment Agency

National University of Singapore

Singapore Polytechnic

And EV Component Manufacturers

evHUB conducts research and development of next generation high performance EV components in the following areas:

EV components

Battery performance

Consumer ergonomics

Lifecycle costs

Our EV research platforms
evHUB conducts in-house research and testing in three distinct categories: utility, luxury and sport. This platform will expand to other models and systems including trucks using a hybrid drivetrain technology. The design and technologies we employ can be effectively applied by original equipment manufacturers who are looking to expand into electric vehicles.
